PRIVACY & DISCRETION
House Montsserat (the โHouseโ) holds the privacy of our collectors in the highest regard. Our data protocols are designed to ensure that your identity and the details of your private collection remain secure, confidential, and handled with institutional integrity.
1. THE PRINCIPLE OF DISCRETION
The House collects only the information necessary to facilitate the acquisition, authentication, and secure transit of your assets. We do not engage in the commercial sale of collector data. Your presence on our Private Roster is a confidential matter between the House and the individual.
2. DATA STEWARDSHIP & THE LEDGER
To maintain the provenance and investment value of the works of Marius Raducan, the House maintains a Private Ledger.
- Identity Data: We retain records of the original acquirer (Name, Address, Email) to verify the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for future provenance inquiries.
- Transaction Integrity: Financial data is processed through our secure, encrypted partners. The House does not store full credit card details on its internal servers.
3. STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION
Membership in the Private Roster is voluntary.
- Briefings: Collectors receive confidential briefings regarding new collections, private viewings, and institutional updates.
- Withdrawal: A collector may request removal from the Private Roster at any time. However, the House will retain historical transactional data as required by UK law and to maintain the integrity of the workโs provenance.
4. GLOBAL LOGISTICS & PARTNERS
To ensure white-glove delivery, the House must share limited information (Name and Delivery Coordinates) with our specialized transit partners. These partners are vetted for their own commitment to discretion and security.
5. SITE OPTIMIZATION PROTOCOLS
The House utilizes minimal “cookies” and analytical tools strictly to enhance the user experience and ensure the security of the digital gallery. These protocols do not track your activity beyond the Houseโs domain.
6. THE COLLECTORโS PREROGATIVE (GDPR RIGHTS)
Under the laws of England and Wales and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, collectors hold the following rights regarding their data:
- Access: The right to request a summary of the information held within our Ledger.
- Rectification: The right to update contact coordinates to ensure accurate transit and provenance.
- Erasure: The right to request the deletion of non-essential data, subject to the House’s legal requirements for tax and archival record-keeping.
